FAQ

Fair Card Drawer FAQ covers without-replacement draws, concealed mode, local storage, and casual-fairness limits.

Deck and draws

What happens when I press Draw card?

The tool removes the top card(s) from the remaining deck, shows them on the felt table, and appends them to Draw history and the discard count.

When should I Reshuffle?

Reshuffle rebuilds and shuffles a full 52-card deck while keeping your concealed setting. Use it between hands or when the deck runs low.

What does Reset clear?

After confirmation, Reset clears deck state, discard, history, and this site’s cards namespace in localStorage.

How do mini tools interact with the deck?

Red or black picks a color without drawing. High / low (draw 2) removes two cards from the deck like a normal draw.

Fairness, access, and limits

How random is the shuffle?

Shuffles use crypto.getRandomValues with Fisher–Yates in utility-core—appropriate for casual play, not audited casino dealing.

Does state survive refresh?

Yes. Deck, discard pile, history, and concealed mode reload from localStorage on this device.

How are results announced?

Draw outcomes are posted to an accessible live region. In concealed mode, a draw is announced even while faces stay hidden.

Publisher content and site quality

How is this site different from other draw tools?

Copy focuses on deck semantics—concealed draws, reshuffle timing, and host phrasing—rather than generic random-picker language reused across unrelated utilities.

Will ads appear on privacy or FAQ pages?

No. Monetization is designed for the homepage tool surface only after approval; help and legal routes remain ad-free.
